The River Singers is a band of 60-70 some singers who come together weekly to sing exciting, thrilling, soulful music from Eastern Europe(Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia) from the Republic of Georgia, American shape note, gospel and Appalachian traditions songs of resistance and more.  We are a curious multi generational group that loves singing, loves diverse traditions and loves community.

This fall we start on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:30-8pm  We’ll have 2 concerts on December 12 and 13 at 4pm. This is a no audition choir but we do ask that you know you can sing in tune and have some experience singing.

If this sounds like the choir for you contact Mary Cay at mcbrass@vermontel.net
